ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Admission of Naval children in NCS(MB) is governed by the existing NES policy viz 'No naval child is denied admission in NCSs.Naval children coming from other NCSs are granted admission wthout any admission test. However children coming from schools other than NCSs are given an admission test to ascertain their level of performance so that necessary remedial measures are taken if necessary.


1.Admission Form: To be downloaded from website:
Duly filled admission form with Registration fees of Rs.200/- and following documents to be submitted in school office between 9:30 am to 12 noon.

       Class I : Original and attested copy of birth certificate (Original birth certificate will be returned after verification.
       Class II to X and XII :

  1. Original Transfer Certificate (NCS to NCS signed by Director of School)(Non NCS coming from other region or other board signed by District Education Officer)
  2. Marksheet with ASL (IX to XI)
  3. Report card of class last studied
  4. CBSE registration (IX,X,XI & XII)
       Class XI :
  1. Original Transfer Certificate (NCS to NCS signed by Director of School) (Non NCS coming from other region or other board signed by District Education Officer)
  2. Xerox copy of Xth marksheet
  3. Migration certificate


One cheque in favour of Navy Children School,Mumbai at the time of admission (Please mention name of child, class and mobile no. on reverse side on reverse side of cheque)


1. Application Form: Application forms to be downloaded from school website www.ncsmumbai.com and printout to be taken on A4 sheet backtoback. The completed application form, duly countersigned, by them along with 2 colour passport size photographs would only be accepted.


2.Priority For Admission: The order of priority for admission is as follows:-


* The decision of the school administration regarding the admission shall be final.


3.Age Limit:
      a) Standard I The pupil must have attained a minimum age of 5 years and maximum of 7 years on 31 March of the year in which admission is sought.
      b) Other Classes The minimum and maximum age for admission to all other succeeding classes will be calculated based on the age limits prescribed for Std. I.


4.Birth Certificate:The acceptable proof of age will be the Certificate of Birth issued by a competent authority e.g., Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai, Notified Area Committee of the place of birth of child for std. I or Transfer Certificate from previous school for all subsequent classes.


5.REGISTRATION FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE. REGISTRATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE ADMISSION.
